以关键词为“理想中的医院是什么样的”来对社会进行调查，得出五花八门的答案，反应出现有的医院无论是在生理和心理方面，环境方面都无法满足要求，这些对理想医院的的呼声对于拉差普吕克医院的设计方向起到至关重要的作用。这所新医院址的设计旨在“把可怕的医院变成大家熟悉的家园” 并设定下列目标：1、建造一个有利于“身体抱恙，心灵健康”的心理康复环境的方法 2、能实现高效工作和管理的医院 3、与项目所在地周边环境相呼应的医院。
In the beginning of the new Ratchaphruek Hospital, brainstorm processes were discussed by various professionals towards the important keyword "What is your dream hospital?" Many divergent answers reflected both physical and psychological needs such as "Feel like home", "Not busy, not crowded", "Not get lost", "A hospital that understands the local culture", "Smell of the hospital that is not the medicine" and "Hospital like home". The design of the new Ratchaphruek Hospital is intended to "Changing the horrible hospital into a Home that people are familiar with" (from Hospital to Homepital) through the following goals: 1. Creating an environment that is conducive to psychological healing, "even if the body is sick but the heart is not sick" 2. To be the functional and manageable hospital 3. To be the hospital that synchronizes with its context and surrounding

孔敬市是泰国北部地区的三大主要城市之一，拉差普吕克医院位于孔敬市区，是一家为了接收来自孔敬府以及周边府服务使用者的医院，包括邻国（老挝、柬埔寨），即身体特征、生活方式和信仰相似的人群。这些人群是村子里的村民，家庭内部关系亲密，而不是像城市社会里的独立个体一样。
The Khon Kaen city is one of the top three main regional cities in the northern part of Thailand. Ratchaphruek Hospital is located in the uptown area of Khon Kaen province and served not only to the people in the province and the nearby provinces but also to the neighborhood country such as Laos and Khmer, who kindly are relevant in physical characteristics, livelihood and beliefs. They are originally villagers, who are committed to the large family's members living together, not those urban people that are independently separated from their family of their own.
该项目在医院类建筑中进行了文化创新，将东北人民的文化和生活方式通过接待区的设计传递出来。这一区域是迎合当地文化的大型等候区，打造出医院被大自然包围的新形象，而不再是让人觉得害怕来医院的旧形象。The project allows cultural innovation to take place in the hospital building type. Cultural and lifestyle of northeastern delivery in the spaces such as the welcome court, large waiting area to respond to local culture, users behavior and we purpose the new image of the hospital which people surrounded by nature instead of frightening images of intensive care bed.
建造一个有利于心理康复的环境总共有四个原则：自然疗法、友谊疗法、建筑疗法和冥想疗法。By activating healing therapy environment under five aspects which are “Natural Therapy”, “Friendship Therapy”, "Architecture Therapy" and “Contemplative”.
自然疗法
Natural Therapy
现如今泰国的医院成为了利润丰厚的业务，使得医院的每个部分都被设置/旨在成为医疗区域，这样才能更好地为医院所有者和股东创造金钱和利润。而拉差普吕克医院区别于其他普通医院，更看重其他价值，也就是着重于建造一个有利于心理康复的环境。
Nowadays most of the hospitals in Thailand becomes a place that makes a high profit to developers and shareholders, therefore every inch in the hospital now is pointed to create as much as profit and money back to the hospital as possible, neglecting the true hospital spirit where it should be. Ratchaphruek Hospital, however, aims their point of view differently, not just benefits, the hospital is paying attention to creating an environment to cherish the patients and all users' mental health.
在项目中央地区的急诊患者和住院患者（二楼）区域，一个拥有绿地和树木的大型庭院形成了大面积绿化区域。Creating a large green area at the heart of the project where is the outpatient zone and the reception zone (second floor) through the construction of a large court with green area and trees.
每一层都有水池和绿地（四楼给员工配有花坛，十三楼办公室边有景观园，二楼有员工专属阳台和花园）。Arranging overflowing ponds and green areas spreading along various floors. (The staff tree-courtyard at the fourth floor, garden of conversation area beside the office on the thirteenth floor, balcony, and garden at the Staff rest area on the second floor)
在五楼创建一个大的绿化区，屋顶花园区域可供住院患者观赏或游玩。Creating a large green area on the fifth floor at the ROOF GARDEN area, which will be the area for the in-patient to perceive and use.
在每一层楼的走廊、通道做通风口，随时有新鲜空气流动。Arranging air vents (in-out) at every floor level in order to make users always experience cold wind when they are at any corridors and courts.
友谊疗法Friendship Therapy
在大楼内准备可供所有人互动的场地 (Community Space) ，包括人事、项目工作人员、服务使用者及其亲友。Preparing areas for interaction space (Community space) separate across the building for everyone, including staffs, the project officials, and patients who often come along with many relatives.
建筑疗法Architecture Therapy
通过使用符合人体尺度（Human Scale），以及群众熟悉的材料（Material）、图形和比例等建筑物组件来进行治疗，避免让人感到陌生，而是感到熟悉、温暖，就像在家里一样。Using architectural elements to heal through the following factors such as proportions of the building that related to the human scale, using materials, patterns, and proportions that the local people are familiar with to prevent alienation and to create a warm atmosphere that they would "feel at home".
二楼迎宾区 (Welcome Court) 是接待服务使用者项目的核心，是一个有屋顶、木柱子、屋檐较低的区域，四周有阳台，中间种植树木。进入这片区域会发现只有两层楼，就像在自己家一样。Welcome court area on the second floor is the heart of the project for welcoming project’s users. It is a court with a roof, wooden column, low eaves, and surrounded by wooden balconies. There are a garden and trees in the middle. Also, when entering this area, users will recognize that the building has only two floors like home.
虽然医院是14层的大型建筑物，但是可以通过减少建筑物重量，降低屋顶至地面的高度来改变建筑的比例，并在大楼内部建造绿地，如常春藤墙、树木，以此来弱化建筑的僵硬感。Even this is a large and tall (14-story) building but it has been disproportionate the masses of the building and descending its proportion from the rooftop to the ground level together with the inserting of the green areas on the building surface such as ivy walls/trees to reduce the hardness of building.
为了营造温馨的感觉，将地方智慧运用到这栋现代建筑上，如特色屋顶、日照山墙、木材的使用。建筑物内会使用查卢纹，而这也是居民们熟悉的材料。查卢纹（来自古代智慧的花纹有助于抵御疾病、驱邪避恶）还向建筑物传达了吉祥的意义。Applying local wisdom to a large building becoming the contemporary building by using the roof style, Northeastern Sun Style Gable, and wooden materials. Using wooden materials and Chaleo pattern wall to keep a warm mood on the building design. These are the materials that familiar with the local residents and the Chaleo pattern (the pattern from ancient wisdom which is a prosperous pattern and can eliminate unfortunate things.) also convey the prosperous meaning to the building as well.
冥想疗法Contemplative Therapy
通过使用神圣的物品和信仰作为精神的锚，确定医院各处的神圣区域。在一楼布置梵天神龛和一个大庭院，并在五楼为所有宗教提供宗教房间，这将使患者的心灵记住美好的事情，并获得慈悲、放松和减压。Using sacred items and beliefs as an anchor for the mind through the determination of sacred areas at various points in the hospital. This will make the patient’s mind remember the good things and leading to a charitable, relaxed, and stress-free mind by arranging the Brahma shrine and a large courtyard in the first floor and providing religious rooms for all religions on the fifth floor.
能实现高效工作和管理的医院To Be the Functional and Manageable Hospital
根据医院用地标准，清晰地划分各个相关区域，如急诊部必须靠近放射科等。Clear zoning, related, and meet the space stand of the hospital such as the emergency department must be near the radiology department, etc.
划分清晰的线路，将重症患者（不宜直面）与普通患者区隔开，包含将线路划分开，避免与普通患者常用的通道相混淆。Providing clear circulation in order to separate the critical patients (which are disturbing some general patients) from general patients and separating other circulations from the main circulations.
路线的设计简单明了，容易记忆，避免服务使用者迷路，用庭院作为标记来标出服务使用者应走的通道。Organizing uncomplicated circulation and easy to remember and recognize in order to help users not getting lost. The courts are used to determine the main route for general users.

About CREDAWARD
CREDAWARD“源于中国，面向世界”，由地建师DJSER发起于2014年。并得到国际知名学府的支持：曼彻斯特建筑学院（英国）、米兰理工大学 （意大利）、加泰罗尼亚理工大学（西班牙）。
组委会秉承“建筑审美、环境优先、用户体验、经济效益”的评价标准，历年共计邀请到23个国家和地区的业主单位和全球知名设计机构参与，参与评选作品7,548份。作为中国地区富有盛名的国际性设计奖项，因其严谨的评选流程、公开的评选模式、严苛的获奖机制，被行业誉为“最具有挑战性的大奖”之一。

CREDAWARD was initiated by DJSER in 2014. CREDAWARD has invited Manchester School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Milan, Universidad de Politécnica de Catuluña as the Academic Support.
The award adheres to the evaluation standards of architectural aesthetics, environment protection, user experience and economic benefits. Over the years, 7,548 entries have been applied by developers and world-renowned design institutions from 23 countries and regions. CREDAWARD has developed into an influential international award in China because of the authoritative judges, strict judging process. It is also praised by the industry as one of the most challenging awards.
